Wedding planning season is officially upon us and we wanted to highlight some of our favorite wedding venues for Fayetteville Weddings, in Fayetteville, NC. Your venue will be the first thing you book when planning your wedding, but can be an overwhelming decision, as there are so many pretty ones. Before deciding on a venue, you need to consider your number of guests, whether they are public or private, and possibly the look you are going for. We have worked in venues from vintage warehouse to rustic barns and we have loved them all!
Brides.com has an awesome article on things to consider when choosing a venue. We highly recommend you reading this article to be prepared. Below you will find some of our favorites that we have worked with. Before we proceed, to clarify, a public venue will allow you to bring in your own vendors (caterers, DJ, etc), where as a private venue, or all inclusive, has done some of the harder work for you and includes select vendors in their pricing.
Studio 215: Public Venue | Vintage Warehouse located in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville, NC! With it’s exposed brick and open ceiling concept, Studio 215 provides the perfect spot for the modern bride who wants something a little different.
Check out that awesome Pallet Wall available in the Little Studio at Studio 215.
Old Warehouse Building located directly across the street provides a unique backdrop for formal photos.
Cape Fear Botanical Gardens: Private Venue | Beautiful gardens provide a diverse backdrop for photos and your wedding setting. Provides a list of select vendors to make your wedding planning easier. (Blog Post)
The Cape Fear Botanical Gardens provide lush greenery throughout the year.
The sunset and fountain backdrop are one of our favorites at the gardens.
Engagement sessions are fun at the gardens and the fall/spring are beautiful here.
Vizcaya Villa: Private Venue | Romantic, quaint venue providing a list of select vendors for your wedding day.
The cobblestone walkway to your soon to be husband provides a unique feel to any wedding. The outdoor structure also sits among a beautiful lake with a fountain. Cross the romantic bridge as well and create a true fairy tale feel to your wedding.
The lush greenery, virtually available year round provides a gorgeous backdrop for the bride and groom as well.
We do also recommend checking out Skyview on Hay and The Metropolitan Room. Two new venues near Fayetteville are Catlett Farms and McCormick Farms (both we are crossing our fingers to photograph at). Outside venues that provide a unique feel are The Wallace Lodge (check out our blog post on that) and The Fair Barn.
We hope you found this article useful. If you are interested in more information, please contact each venue and their staff would love to assist you in providing tours and information of their venues. If you are in need of a photographer, of course hit our contact button and shoot us an email!
Until Next Time, Lisa
